Home Inspections, Our Specialty
We Deliver Peace of Mind
Purchasing a home is one of life’s largest financial commitments. Minimize the risk by having your future home inspected by well trained professionals. Tepee Inspections is a multi-inspector company where each inspector is independently licensed and insured. We each have SUPRA key access, which allows us to gain access to houses secured by the SUPRA electronic lockbox system.
Tepee Inspections is locally owned and operated, dedicated to providing you with the best home inspections and insurance inspections since 1989! We follow an in-depth process, examining hundreds of elements of your future home. After the inspection, we will be happy to answer any questions you may have or to look at specific concerns. We always strive to provide guidance and suggested solutions. Our reports are easy to read, contain lots of photos and areas of concern are purposefully separated into the “Problem Areas” (need repairs) and “Maintenance and advisories”.

We evaluate for the condition of all roofing materials, shingles, tiles, flat roll roofing, flashing around roof transitions, chimneys, rooftop HVAC unit, penetrations, vents and valleys, possible necessary repairs, conditions which may cause a roof leak in the future, drip edges, downspouts and gutters. We will also access the building permit if obtainable for review.
Air Conditioning Inspection
In Florida, air conditioning systems are in operation for most of the year. A quality review of your system is important. We perform detailed HVAC evaluation and analysis which will assess the condition of your system. We test your system in all modes and measure the effectiveness of each to determine overall system health.
Electrical System Inspection
We will provide you with a comprehensive review of your electrical system including the main service panel, sub-panels, grounding, and location of your main shut off switch and GFCI/AFCI circuit protection throughout your house. We look for improper wiring, double tapped breakers, arcing, recalled service panels and “handyman” installations that can put you at risk.
Tepee Inspections evaluates all visible components of your plumbing system including the main water shut off location, water heater (age, function, Temperature Pressure Relief, gas or electric supply), laundry hookups, hoses and drains, supply lines (and the type of piping used), visible waste lines and traps, sinks, toilets, showers, bidets, bathtubs and individual shut off valves.
